School Spirit Day at the Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass!

Saturday, August 9th | Starting at 1PM

High School Dance Teams from across the state are bringing the energy for Back to School and walking away with cash! Every team earns $200, and the team that brings the most supporters could win a total of $1,200!

How It Works:

Teams: Perform one dance, earn $200.

• The two teams with the most supporters at the event will win the bonus prizes of $1,000 for the top team or $500 for second place!
• Custom social media graphics of your team will be provided to help spread the word!

Supporters: Help your team win! Be sure to show up and register at the table near the performance area between 1–3PM, Saturday, August 9th. The top two teams with the most registered supporters wins the extra cash!

FAQs – School Spirit Day

Can we ask for supporters at the event?

No. Teams are not permitted to ask shoppers on-site for support. Please encourage your fans to come with you and register during the event.

Does the entire team need to attend?

No. Bring who you can – you will still receive the $200.

When do we get paid?

You’ll receive your $200 check the day of the event. Winners will receive an additional check 1 week after winning.

Does the team have to stay from 1-3 PM?

No. Performances start at 1 PM. Once your team has performed, you're free to leave. Winners will be announced via social media at 4 PM.

If I need music, how does that work?

DJ Jay will be running sound. He can plug in your phone, or you can email your music to bluegrassmkt@horizongroup.com and your music will be given to Jay in advance.

When should we arrive, and where do we go?

Please arrive by 12:45 PM and check in at the table next to the stage near Nike. Teams will perform in the order they arrive. A warm-up area, water, and snacks will be provided. The performance area includes a 12x12 stage and additional space around it for larger teams.
